An excellent talk entitled "Regulation of reactive nitrogen species and its effect on brain damage during cerebral ischemia and reperfusion injury" was given by Dr. Yong Gu from University of Hong Kong on May 24^th, 2013. Dr. Gu Yong detailed his research work, which mainly involved in the molecular mechanisms of blood-brain barrier damage during cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury, brain protection of chinese monomer and antioxidant of membrane protein. All of our students actively participated and enjoyed this talk. After the talk, teachers and students had a good discussion. Everyone benefited immensely from this report.
