Brief introduction of the speaker:

Prof. Zengqiang Yuan, Ph.D. 2003-2007, Department of Pathology, Harvard Medical College (postdoctoral); 2007-2016, Research Fellow, Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Project 100. 2016- so far, the Academy of Military Sciences - Military Medical Research - Brain Science Center distinguished professor. The laboratory has been engaged in the study of the mechanism and application transformation of cellular and molecular biology in brain injury and neurodegenerative diseases for a long time. It has mainly discovered the MST1-FOXO signal transduction pathway and revealed its important role in oxidative stress-induced apoptosis (Cell, 2006; JNS, 2011, 2014-2015; eLife; 2013); identified the Cdk1-FOXO1 letter. No. 1 transduction pathway clarifies its important role in regulating apoptosis and cell cycle (Science, 2008); clarifies the new regulatory mechanism of neuronal apoptosis and inflammation and its role in stroke and neurodegenerative diseases (JNS, 2011; BBI, 2016; CDD, 2016-2017; PNAS, 2017). At present, nearly 60 SCI papers have been published in Sciences, Cell, Developmental Cell, Molecular Psychiatry, PNAS, EMBO Report, JNS, Cell Death and Differentiation, and special journals on Hippo pathway have been organized in ABBS, Genetics and Pharmacology and Toxicology Journal of China. Director of the Chinese Society of Neuroscience, the Chinese Society of Stroke, the Beijing Society of Biochemistry and the Beijing Society of Neuroscience. To undertake major key projects of the State Ministry of Science and Technology and the Fund Committee, the Beijing Municipal Fund Committee, the General Post-Health Bureau and the Science and Technology Commission.
