Brief introduction of the speaker:

Prof. Jie Zhang is a distinguished professor and doctoral tutor of Xiamen University. National Excellent Youth Science Fund, Excellent Talents of the Ministry of Education in the New Century, Excellent Youth Fund of Fujian Province, Excellent Young Talents of Fujian Province and other project winners.

He has been engaged in the research on the pathogenesis and drug development of major nervous system diseases (Alzheimer's disease, depression, autism, postoperative cognitive impairment, etc.). Up to now, more than 20 research papers have been published by the first author or correspondence author in internationally renowned periodicals. He quoted more than 600 times, H-index 17. After returning to China to conduct independent research work, he published several research papers as a correspondent in Neuron, Cell Reports, PNAS, The Journal of Neuroscience, Clinical Cancer Research, Cell Death and Disease, JBC, Chemistry, Chem.
