Brief introduction of the speaker:

Prof. Yong Tang, a research fellow and doctoral supervisor, is the first batch of lecturer in Chengdu University of TCM. He is the leader of Sichuan Youth Science and technology innovation research team. He is vice president of the Institute of TCM and deputy director of the science and Technology Department in Chengdu University of TCM. The standing committee member of neural homeostasis and endocrine branch of CNS, a member of American Association for the Advancement of Science, AAAS. The editorial board of Purinergic Signalling, Neuroscience Bulletin, World Journal of Gastroenterology, Shanghai Journal of acupuncture and moxibustion, World Chinese Journal of Digestology, Shanghai J Acup Moxib and World Journal of Acupuncture-Moxibustion. Has presided over the national key basic research and development plan (973 Plan) project, National Natural Science Foundation major research project, Sino German Center for science and international cooperation projects and etc. Continuously organized the two Sino German "Purinergic signaling - Pain - Acupuncture workshop (2012, Chengdu; 2017, Leipzig), to promote the research field of purinergic signaling the international development.
