Brief introduction of the speaker:

Professor Wan, a professor at Peking University and a doctoral tutor. Dean of the School of Basic Medicine, Secretary of the Party Committee. Department of Neurobiology/Neurology Research Institute of the School of Basic Medicine/Director/Director of the Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education and the National Health Planning Commission. As one of the main leaders, he established the Department of Neurobiology and obtained the first batch of national key disciplines, established the Institute of Neuroscience and became a ministerial-level key laboratory. He was a member of the Discipline Review Group of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council.

He received his bachelor's and master's degrees in medicine from Henan Medical University in 1985 and 1990, his Ph.D. from Tongji Medical University in 1993, and his post-doctoral post in Beijing Medical University in 1995. He was admitted to Illinois State University and the State University of New Jersey from 1998 to 2000. A visiting scholar. Mainly engaged in the study of neurobiological mechanisms of pain and analgesia.
