报告人简介

Dr. Hui-Lin Pan received his medical and graduate degrees (Neurobiology/Cardiology) from Tongji Medical University in Wuhan. He conducted his postdoctoral research fellowship at University of California, Davis, studying cardiovascular physiology and primary sensory nerves innervating the heart and abdominal visceral organs. His subsequent faculty appointments in Neuroscience and Anesthesiology were at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and Penn State University College of Medicine.

Dr. Pan currently holds the position as Helen T. Hawkins Distinguished Professor and Deputy Division Head for Research in Division of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. His major research interest includes epigenetic and synaptic mechanisms of neuropathic pain, autonomic regulation in hypertension, and pharmacological signaling of G protein-coupled receptors. His research programs have been continuously funded by NIH for >20 years. He has published more than 180 original studies in peer-reviewed journals including Circulation, Cell Rep, J Biol Chem, J Physiol, J Neurosci, Neuron, Nat Neurosci.
